For the beef shawarma:
  1 lb (450 g) flank steak, thinly sliced
  ½ lemon, juiced
  4 cloves garlic, minced or grated
  3 tsp shawarma seasoning

Instructions

  • In bowl, mix 3 tablespoons olive oil, lemon juice, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss beef in marinade. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet over medium-high. Cook beef in batches until browned, about 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  • Serve wrapped in pita with desired toppings (optional).
