Mexican-Spiced Steak with Pico de Gallo

2 limes, juiced
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground allspice
1 tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
2 servings Simple Pico de Gallo (see original recipe)

Instructions

  • In small bowl, mix cumin, allspice, oregano, cinnamon, and half of lime juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush steak with marinade and let sit while you prepare any side dishes, like Pico de Gallo.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in pan over medium heat. Cook steaks for about 2 minutes per side, or to preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Slice steak and serve with Pico de Gallo or your choice of sides.
