1 cup (240 g) tomato sauce
¼ cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar
⅛ tsp ground allspice
⅛ tsp ground cloves
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper
water, as needed

Instructions
- Place all ingredients into small pot. Place on stove over low heat and simmer gently for 10 minutes. If sauce is too thick, add some water to achieve desired consistency.
- Transfer ketchup into glass jar with tight-fitting lid and store in refrigerator for up to one month.
