Black Bean Steak Stir Fry

Ingredients
4 cloves garlic, peeled, finely sliced
1 ½ in (4 cm) root ginger, peeled, finely sliced
12 oz (350 g) asparagus, woody ends trimmed
2 x 4.4 oz (125 g) steak filets
2 tbsp black bean sauce
salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Place large, cold, non-stick frying pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic, and ginger over medium heat. Warm up, stirring regularly. Once golden, scoop out garlic and ginger and set aside, leaving oil in skillet. Add asparagus spears to skillet.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper, add to skillet, and turn heat up to high. Cook for 3 minutes, turning everything regularly.
- Add black bean sauce and 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar. Cook for 1 minute for medium-rare steaks (or cook to your liking).
- Slice steaks, serve in bowls, and scatter over crispy garlic and ginger.
