Pesto Chickpea Toast

3.5 oz (100 g) canned chickpeas, drained
1 tsp paprika
2 slices wholemeal bread, toasted
3 tbsp pesto
1 tbsp basil, chopped, to garnish
1 tbsp hemp seeds, to garnish
salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Place the drained chickpeas on the baking tray. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil. Toss well to coat. Roast in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Toast the bread and spread pesto evenly. Top with the roasted chickpeas and garnish the toasts with basil and hemp seeds.
