Ingredients

14 oz (400 g) can chickpeas, rinsed, drained
2 tbsp lime juice
1 small clove garlic, peeled
2.7 fl oz (80 ml) water
sea salt & black pepper, to taste
2.8 oz (80 g) frozen green peas, thawed
2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  • Add chickpeas, lime juice, garlic, and water to a food processor or high-speed blender. Cover and blend until smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add thawed green peas, chopped mint, parsley, and lemon zest to the food processor or blender mixture. Cover and blend again until smooth.
  • Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
